Were you adopted in New York?

This year a bill was passed that anyone who was adopted and is 18 years old or older can obtain their original birth certificate. This bill takes affect on January 15, 2020.

For years, New York has been a closed adoption state. This new bill will open so many doors and hearts as adoptees can learn about their biological parents. My heart goes out to anyone who is willing to take the step to finding their birth parents!
