Linda A. Metzger is a NY state qualified Genealogist. She has over 14 years of experience ranging from finding living heirs, probate research (forensic genealogy), adopted parents, ancestry research and house histories. Her education includes a BS in Management, an MBA from Tulane University and a Certificate in Genealogy Research from Boston University.
Linda is currently a member of several historical societies in the New York Metro area, where her work is concentrated in addition to societies outside of the state where she has also conducted work. She has self published a family history book on the founding families of Long Island and currently working on another book on the founding families of New England. She has trained and spoken on genealogy for several institutions in both Arizona and New York. Linda is a current member and the former Vice Regent of the Col. Josiah Smith Chapter of the DAR in Patchogue. She is also the Sr. Vice President of the Captain Austin Roe Society, N.S.C.A.R. on Long Island.
